Dean Santoro, a technology manager for a large retailer, is taking on term-limited House Democratic leader Dan Gelber in Miami's 35th Senate district. Santoro is the Miami-Dade organizer for the RLC of Florida and the creator and organizer of the Miami-Dade Ron Paul Meetup. He runs with a unified GOP behind him; he faces no GOP primary opponent.
